Cadillac CTS Sport Wagon unveiled

2010 Cadillac CTS Sport Wagon

At the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, Cadillac will present their new 2010 Cadillac CTS Sport Wagon. Based in the CTS sport sedan, the Sport Wagon’s styling include signature V-shaped deck and tailgat, large, vertical taillamps with light-pipe technology, power-opening liftgate (via key fob or in-vehicle button), CHMSL integrated in subtle roof spoiler. Besides that, the car also features integrated roof load management system with cross bars, cargo management system with adjustable in-floor containment, new 19-inch wheels and a larger panoramic rear sunroof.

Under the hood, the CTS Sport Wagon is available with two versions of the 3.6 liter V6 engine. The first one develops 304 hp (227 kW), produces 25 percent less emissions and has a fuel economy of 26 mpg highway rating. The standard 3.6 liter VVT engine produces 263 hp (196 kW) and 253 lb.-ft. of torque (343 Nm) and serves as the base engine in North America. The engines are matched with six-speed transmissions, including an Aisin six-speed manual or an electronically controlled Hydra-Matic 6L50 six-speed automatic. Also, an efficient 250 hp 2.9 liter turbo-diesel engine is being developed for European and Asian markets.

Following the Pebble Beach premiere, the 2010 Cadillac CTS Sport Wagon will arrive into Cadillac dealerships in spring 2009.
