First Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione delivered
Even though Alfa Romeo has delayed their return to the U.S. until 2011, it has delivered its first Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione made for the U.S. to its rightful owner. In fact, three 8Cs were lined up last week at Miller Motorcars in Greenwich, Connecticut as Alfa's Project Manager, Renzo Barbirato, and the development test driver, Domenico Martino, eagerly awaited the arrival of their first clients to take delivery. Well known owner of the Pininfarina Ferrari P4/5 Jim Glickenhaus was first to take delivery and had his 8C custom painted in the same color as his unique Ferrari. After Martino walked Jim through the car, and the checkout was done, Jim went for a 15 mile ride through Greenwich county. Following Glickenhaus's ceremony, the two other owners arrived to receive individual introductions to their Alfa 8Cs.
